Avv. Paolo Bassilana
Paolo Bassilana is a founding partner at Bassilana & Associates Law Firm.
He practices in the fields of commercial, corporate, and insolvency law, both in non-litigation and litigation contexts. He is active in arbitration proceedings as both a defender and an arbitrator. He has extensive experience advising banks and financial intermediaries, as well as in mergers, acquisitions, and extraordinary finance transactions.
He is a speaker at conferences and an author of publications on corporate, insolvency, banking law, and business succession.
He was previously a partner at Biscozzi Nobili Law and Tax Firm and at Benessia – Maccagno e Bassilana.
He graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan and earned a PhD in Domestic and International Commercial Law from Bocconi University in Milan.
He has been a member of the Milan Bar Association since 1995 and has been included in the Special Register of Lawyers admitted to practice before the Court of Cassation and other Higher Jurisdictions since 2008.
